Climate–water & model review checklist
Prepare the site conditions, scenario assumptions and decision thresholds for a focused review.
The CSV includes columns for availability, source/date and your notes. The checklist does not require you to send information to BGF.
Decision and boundary
- Decision, asset or service being assessed; responsible decision owner.
- Spatial boundary, time horizon and required performance.
- Current seasonal variability and observed disruptions.
Hazards and dependencies
- Relevant heat, drought, rainfall or coastal exposure with source and date.
- Water, energy, land, access and supply-chain dependencies.
- Site observations separated from regional or transferred assumptions.
Model and scenarios
- Model purpose, version, input data and boundary conditions.
- Calibration data and independent evaluation evidence.
- Scenario definitions, sensitivity results and uncertainty ranges.
Response and follow-up
- Candidate adaptation measures and environmental trade-offs.
- Performance thresholds, review triggers and monitoring responsibility.
- Priority information gaps and the next decision they affect.
This is an initial information checklist, not a laboratory instruction, safety assessment or detailed design specification. Select parameters and sampling arrangements with the responsible specialists.
